What's Tom Hirst all about then?
I am a freelance web designer who creates clean, attractive websites and absolutely loves WordPress. My priority is to deliver a high standard web presence while working closely with the client to achieve a quality final product. I provide an in depth start to finish design and build service focusing on preparation, production and communication. My specialties include user experience design, front end development and WordPress theme design/implementation.
Having grown up building computers and creating my first websites aged 15; I knew where my career path would lie. After obtaining A Levels in Computing and ICT (+ Psychology) I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2009 with a degree in Multimedia and Communication Design. Since then I have been working self-employed and enjoying the experience thoroughly.
Aside from my avid interest in all things web based – I enjoy football, photography, gaming, attending music gigs/festivals, visiting America and taking care of my dogs Max and Paddy.
No job too big, no job too small – I’m eager to take on interesting projects of any size and budget. It doesn’t matter where you’re located either! I work successfully with people from all around the UK and beyond.
